Privacy Policy
This policy explains what data Alanna Scott Studio (“we”, “us”) collects through GoodToShip, how we use it, and your rights.
What We Collect
- Account info - your name and email address, provided when you purchase an audit
- Payment info - processed by Stripe. We never see or store your full card number
- Repository URL - the GitHub or GitLab URL you provide for the audit
- Communications - emails and messages exchanged during the engagement
How We Use Your Data
We use the information above to perform your audit, deliver the report, communicate with you about the engagement, and process payment. That's it. We do not sell your data or use it for marketing purposes beyond transactional emails related to your audit.
Code Access and Handling
When you purchase an audit, we clone your repository to a single local machine for analysis. Your code is processed through Anthropic's API for AI-assisted review. No other third-party service receives your source code.
After report delivery, we retain the repository clone for 90 days to handle follow-up questions. After that period, the clone is permanently deleted and we take reasonable steps to ensure no copies remain in backups or cloud sync.
Third-Party Services
We use the following services to operate GoodToShip:
- Stripe - payment processing
- Resend - transactional email delivery
- Railway - application hosting
- PostHog - product analytics
- Sentry - error tracking and performance monitoring
- Anthropic - AI-assisted code analysis (your code is processed through their API during the audit)
Each service has its own privacy policy governing how they handle data. We take reasonable steps to select services that do not use your data for model training or resale.
Data Retention
- Source code - deleted 90 days after report delivery
- Conversation data - purged after 90 days
- Payment records - retained as required by tax and accounting obligations
- Audit reports - we retain a copy for our records unless you request deletion
Cookies
We use minimal cookies: session cookies for site functionality and analytics cookies (PostHog) to understand how visitors use the site. We do not use advertising cookies or third-party tracking pixels.
Your Rights
You can request at any time to:
- Access the personal data we hold about you
- Correct inaccurate data
- Delete your data (subject to legal retention requirements)
- Receive a copy of your data in a portable format

Changes to This Policy
We may update this policy from time to time. The version in effect at the time of your purchase applies to your audit. Material changes will be noted on this page with an updated date.
